Book Review: Quilted Landscapes by Joan Blalock
This is an older book, having been published in 1996, but no less valuable for being so. The directions for creating your own landscapes are complete with ample illustrations. It includes 6 patterns, also with complete directions, for making 5 of Joan’s landscapes. This is a good book for beginners in landscape quilting and it has lots of ideas for the experienced as well.
As you can tell from the label on the bottom left of the photo, I borrowed the book from my local library, but it is still available online at Amazon. Clicking on the book’s photo will take you to Amazon where you can look inside the book and see some of its pages.
