Happy National Quilting Day!
Today is National Quilting Day.
What did you do to mark the day? (I began quilting the quilt I’m making just now – a double-bed size full of appliqués.

You had a productive day! I love scraps and scrap quilts are my favourites. Including Veterans in your day was especially meaningful and thoughtful! Thanks for sharing and Happy Quilting.
I organized my scraps, made labels for some Quilts of Valor for our Veterans and made blocks for a quilt.
Would love to see a photo when you’re done, Angie, and even share it here if you are willing. – The quilt I’m working on just now is also a quilt-as-you-go because of its size. I’m using Betty Cotton’s “Cotton Theory Quilting” method to do it.
I’m sandwiching a quilt now that the back is finished. It came out bigger than I thought so it’s going to be a quilt as you go. Here on the west coast I still have a couple of hours more to go.
Happy quilting!
